Updated: 2:55 PM EDT Jun 9, 2021 WXII12.com Web Staff A man dining on the patio of a Greensboro country club was struck in the head by a stray bullet Tuesday evening, according to the Guilford County Sheriff s Office. Sheriff Danny H. Rogers said a 57-year-old man suffered the gunshot wound at Sedgefield Country Club, located at 3201 Forsyth Drive, just before 7 p.m.Deputies said the victim was dining outside on the patio of the private club when a stray bullet struck him on the top of his head. Beverly Marler, the general manager of Sedgefield Country Club, said by phone Wednesday that the incident was unfortunate and appears at this point in the investigation to be random. Marler said she was grateful to the first responders who treated the member. She said firearms are not allowed on the property.Authorities said the wound was superficial and the victim declined to be treated by emergency medical personnel.Deputies said they believe the victim was not targ
